Our VP, Creative Sync Licensing will focus on placing our artists’ music across all media.

How will you contribute to our success?

Pitching & Sync A&R

  • Very “in the know” with sync trends across all media to inform the best strategic alignment efforts across APG repertoire

  • Act proactively in outreach to clients and not rely on incoming briefs

  • Keen on driving both current and future sync business

  • Creative collaboration with APG creators across label and publishing personnel

  • Tailoring up-to-date creative briefs for APG A&R team

  • Continue to build key relationships internally and externally

  • Knowledge of studio process by way of setting sessions and sync camps with targeted output

  • Provide concise Sync trend report updates for the internal Marketing teams

  • Liaise with Marketing, A&R, and Artist Management to ensure the Sync team has the most up-to-date assets for all label artists and publishing clients

  • Ability to rework, remix and adapt APG releases for cinematic driven media(s). I.e. Trailer remixes, Promo remixes etc.

Teamwork

  • Leadership and Team Management experience

  • Ensure clear communication surrounding artist/publishing updates

  • Drive team feedback to improve systems/protocol based on prior and existing experiences

  • Entertain clients to continue building relationships

  • Consistent sync education efforts made companywide including artist/writer managers

Important Skills and Experience

  • 12 or more years of experience across Film/TV media, preferably at notable companies

  • Knowledge of label/publishing Sync departments and publishing work flow.

  • Highly motivated to consistently develop and refine all area of expertise including team growth and oversight.

  • Experience with music programming (E.g. Protools/Logic, etc).

  • Fluent in Disco.

  • Relationships with both up-and-coming and senior music supervisors

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Deep knowledge and understanding of licensing, negotiation and market value of APG repertoire.

  • College degree preferred.

Salary Range

  • $150k - $180k

  • The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualification of the individual applicant, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, and certifications or other professional licenses held.
