Cate Downey

Cate Downey is an LA-based songwriter from Denver known for her combination of addictive melodies and lyrical emotional intensity. She studied songwriting at The Lillehammer Institute of Music Production and Industries in Scandinavia under the direction of Grammy-winning production duo Stargate. Cate signed with Artist Publishing Group in 2021 and has been growing rapidly in the songwriter community, already landing her first #1 Billboard Dance song ‘Wish It Was You’ which she features on with Audien. She also contributed to 'Angel Pt. 2' (Charlie Puth, Jimin, Muni Long) and 'Nothing Else Matters' (Jessie Murph) on the Fast X Soundtrack, as well as 'Drunk Text Me' (Lexi Jayde), 'Something To Remember' (Matt Hansen), and 'Trust Fund Baby' (TXT).
