We are looking for a Finance & Accounting Administrator to support our Finance team.
TITLE: Administrator, Finance & Accounting
REPORTS TO: VP, Finance & Accounting and Sr. Director, Finance & Accounting
LOCATION: Los Angeles, CA

Key Responsibilities
Accounting
Accounts payable: inputting weekly bills
Accounts Receivable: invoicing and tracking open AR
Monthly revenue statement preparation and reconciliation
Month-end close: bank reconciliation, journal entries, preparation of supporting schedules
Assist with preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements
T&E Reconciliation and studio billing
Handle ad hoc requests and projects
Maintaining weekly project coding of new releases in the ERP system
Royalties
Review royalty terms of artist and third-party agreements and verify that the terms have been properly set up within the Royalties System
Responsible for all royalties processing which includes ensuring the accuracy of reporting and the prompt processing of monies both payable and receivable
Reconcile various third-party liability account balances on the Royalty Ledger to the General Ledger
Clear suspense and pending/unmatched items within the Royalties System
Prepare accurate and timely royalty statements that comply with contractual obligations and ensure that all costs, artist advances, and royalty calculations are valid
Requirements
2-5 years of accounting and/or bookkeeping experience
Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Beneficial Experience

Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
Compensation
$65k - $75k
The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualification of the individual applicant, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, and certifications or other professional licenses held. All candidates are encouraged to apply.
