A&R Assistant

Our A&R Assistant will focus primarily on the support of the VP of A&R & Senior Director of A&R and direct reports as applicable, with supporting calendars for both A&R’s, as well as coordination for any artists on their rosters, supporting research, finding artists, sourcing beats & sessions, and helping with any other creative ideas across the roster, or any other day to day task.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for calendars for the VP and the Senior Director of A&R

  • Provide administrative support including scheduling sessions, make travel arrangements, submit expense reports, register splits, etc.

  • Maintain client calendars and session scheduling 

  • Coordinate department-related events, such as A&R meetings

  • Facilitate communication on behalf of direct supervisors

  • Hire interns as needed and oversee their work

  • Source beats / instrumentals for A&R’s rosters

Important Skills and Experience

  • Interest in growing creatively with the company

  • Self-starter who’s motivated to develop and refine their area of expertise

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to keep sensitive information confidential

Preferred Experience  

  • Ideally have completed 1-4 internships at labels and/or management companies and have a passion for finding artist and helping connect creative dots for artists

  • Efficient in Microsoft Office, G Suite, and Mac OS

Education                 

  • College degree preferred

Salary Range

  • $19/hour - $20/hour

  • The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualification of the individual applicant, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, and certifications or other professional licenses held.
